Horusium is aware that you may wish to be informed about the way data and information likely to identify you personally, such as your name, address, telephone numbers or email address, etc. ("Personal Data"), which you provide to Horusium, is processed. We have therefore developed this policy to explain to you how we use your Personal Data as well as all the precautions we reasonably take to maintain a level of transparency, confidentiality, security and access to it.
The controller for collection and processing on the Horusium site is the SAS PW Consulting, with a share capital of 1 000 euros, located at 9951 Route de Saint-Laurent – 06610 La Gaude, France – registered with the Grasse trade and companies register under number 849 671 748, represented by Mr Romain GOUNIOT, its Chairman and Data Protection Officer.
This policy is applicable in particular to the clients of the offers and services and to the visitors of the website www.horusium.com. It may be supplemented at any time by specific information brought to your attention regarding an offer or a new service.
You are entirely free to browse this site, subject to accepting the GTUS for any order of service, as well as the rules concerning the processing of your personal data.
Horusium does not collect or process any Personal Data that you have not specifically, voluntarily and knowingly provided to us. We guarantee that our staff complies with strict security and confidentiality standards and assure you that the processing of your Personal Data is carried out in full compliance with recognised data protection legislation.
Personal data means any information making it possible to identify you directly or indirectly, which corresponds in particular to surname, first name(s), postal address, email address or telephone number.
WARNING: Horusium is neither designed nor intended to collect the Personal Data of minors. In order to comply with legislation on the protection of minors, children under 18 must not provide any Personal Data and remain under the responsibility of their legal representatives.
Horusium collects and processes the following categories of data:
Most of our services do not require any registration, which allows you to visit our website without telling us who you are. Certain services may require prior registration, which will be requested from you. When you register with us, you may be asked to fill in certain form fields (some are mandatory, others optional), and to choose a login (email address) and a password. In these situations, if you decide to refuse to provide us with the Personal Data we request, access to certain parts of our website may in turn be denied to you and it may be impossible for us to respond to your requests.
Horusium collects and processes your Personal Data only for specific and limited purposes, of which we inform you when you wish to use certain services. For example, we need to collect and use your Personal Data to provide you with our SEO audit services, to bill you for those you request, to send you newsletters or to communicate with you for any other purpose. In addition, we may use your Personal Data to assess the effectiveness of our services and improve them, for the benefit of our visitors and clients, for our internal statistics or for other operational needs.
More specifically, the data processing carried out by Horusium has the following purposes:
By providing us with your Personal Data, you explicitly consent to these purposes.
Horusium does not keep your data longer than necessary.
The retention period is linked to the service with which the data is associated and, in any event, for the duration of the commercial relationship and/or tax and accounting requirements, the management of any disputes, debt recovery needs, criminally reprehensible activity and in order to prevent any unlawful conduct.
This collection is carried out in compliance with the law, with the declarations previously made to the CNIL and with the GDPR, concerning clients and prospects. We do not collect unnecessary data or data in excessive quantities.
The Data is also subject to duly declared intermediate archiving in order to satisfy legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Horusium never sells, rents, shares or discloses your Personal Data for commercial purposes in any way whatsoever to third parties outside Horusium.
The data collected is intended for Horusium's internal departments and its subcontractors in order to support the performance of the Services. We use the following subcontractors:
If required by law, the site may transmit data to follow up on any complaints and to comply with administrative and judicial procedures.
In any event, Horusium ensures that these third parties guarantee the same level of protection as itself and, if necessary, Horusium requires a contractual guarantee that these third parties will process the Personal Data exclusively for the purpose authorised by you, with all the discretion and security required.
To use the "SEO Health" and "SEO Action Tracking" modules, the User may optionally connect their Google Search Console account to Horusium via the OAuth 2.0 protocol. The authorisation requested is strictly read-only (scope webmasters.readonly, supplemented by userinfo.email to display the address of the connected account in the interface). No modification, writing or deletion is ever carried out on the User's Google account.
Horusium reads the search statistics (URL, queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, average position) of only the Search Console properties selected by the User, and uses them solely to produce the requested SEO Health audit, or to display the Search Console curves in real time in the SEO Action Tracking module, and to return the result to the User. In accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use), this data is never sold, rented or shared with a third party for advertising or commercial purposes, is not used to train a generalised artificial intelligence model, and is not subject to any human reading outside of support explicitly requested by the User, a legal obligation or a security requirement.
The refresh token enabling Horusium to query the Google API is stored encrypted at rest and kept for as long as the User has not disconnected their account. The User may revoke access at any time from the My account → Integrations page on Horusium (which revokes the token on the Google side and removes our access) or directly from the Permissions page of their Google account.
Retention period of SEO Health audit data: the Search Console data retrieved as part of an audit (URL, queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, average position) is kept for 90 days from the creation of the audit, then automatically and permanently deleted from our servers. The User may also manually delete an audit at any time from the interface, which immediately erases all the associated data.
SEO Action Tracking module: this module does not keep any persistent copy of the Search Console data — the curves are retrieved in real time upon display. Only the notes entered by the User (URL, optional keyword, title, description, action date, reminder date) are stored and can be deleted at any time from the interface. If the User sets a reminder date, Horusium sends them an email on that date via the AWS SES subcontractor mentioned in section 3, within a limit of 20 emails per day per User.
The visitor/Client authorises the Site to transfer, store and process their information within the European Union.
The data collected may be processed outside the European Union with regard to hosting and payment providers. In this case, Horusium takes the necessary measures with its subcontractors and partners to guarantee an adequate level of protection of your data, in full compliance with the applicable regulations.
In any event, the site remains responsible. Such transfers are governed by organisational and technical measures ensuring an adequate level of protection of the said data.
We take care of the security of your data just as much as our own. The data collected is placed in a secure environment inaccessible to the public so as to prevent any unauthorised access, use, loss, modification, destruction or disclosure.
Horusium undertakes to implement and maintain, at its own expense, an appropriate IT security program, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing of personal data and the risk (of varying likelihood and severity) to the rights and freedoms of visitors / Clients. This program includes rigorous technical and organisational measures. Only persons duly authorised to process your data within Horusium and its partners (qualified staff, host) have secure access to it.
The technical and organisational measures may benefit from technological advances and future developments. Consequently, Horusium is authorised to use any adequate alternative measure in this respect. However, these alternative measures may not present a level of security lower than that provided for by law for such measures. Any significant changes must be appropriately documented and notified to the Client.
